MAPUTO Nike Air VaporMax Moc 2 Sail Anthracite , Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- Mozambican police said Wednesday they have intercepted ten women being trafficked to Saudi Arabia where they would serve as house maids.


Police spokeswoman in Cabo Delgado province, northern Mozambique, Malva Brito, said the women were discovered on Tuesday in a house, where they were waiting for medical examinations and passports to travel to Saudi Arabia.


"The women were recruited by two Mozambicans in northern Nampula province and transported by bus to Cabo Delgado where they were discovered. The women told police that they would work as domestic servants and continue their studies abroad.


The spokeswoman said authorities are looking for the two Tanzanian citizens. The Mozambicans involved are workers in an import and export company.


Mozambique has been pointed as a transit point for victims of human trafficking but it was the first time with registration to Saudi Arabia.

MEXICO CITY, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- The president of the Mexican Automotive Industry Association (AMIA), Eduardo Solis, said Tuesday that current North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) rule of origin requirements "should remain at the current level."
